This event occcurs in the early summer, typically around the close of the school year.
It includes an al fresco Eucharist at Knoebel's Amusemant Park, and old fashioned Picnic and a wild time at the last FREE admission Family Amusement park in the area.
The Occasional Campout
An impromptu encounter with Mother Nature. Bugs in your hair, rain in your tent.
Lord knows what got into the food last night. In short, a GREAT time!
BlueGrass @ Grace
We're planning some mighty fine pickin' and grinnin' feature Rev'd Jim Huskins a notable bango abuser from Stink Holler Carolina, hard by Smoky Mountain National Forest. He'll be accompanied by Ten Broeck Bluegrass Band.
Stink Holler is otherwise known to Yankees as Marion, North Carolina
Church Picnic
Ususally held in August at nearby at Hamilton Park, with its shaded picinic areas tennis courts and pool. All necessary food items will be provided. We will, however accept all frivolous and unecessary personal favorites and signature dishes you may wish to bring!!! A time of good fellowship and fun, and some truly great grilled foods (even some veggie delights) A wonderful opportunity to "catch up" with what is happening in the Grace Church Family.
Breakfast with Santa
Exactly as it sounds: Breakfast with Santa, but with a twist, an emphasis on the true meaning of Christmas.
Caroling
We are palanning to revive a Christmas tradition, wherein everyone who has the Spirit participates in singing Carols. No singing experience required, just a willingness to try. All ages are welcome, Won't you help us in our efforts to bing this to fruition?
